Ok, so what shows do people think are overrated/underrated?
Mine:
Overrated: Friends (if anyone disagrees that this is overrated, I'll come and find ya); any and all home renovation/decorating shows (Trading Spaces etc)
Underrated: Scrubs

overrated: everybody loves raymond, will and grace, survivor
underrated: scrubs, family guy, becker, arrested development
hey calf, maybe I don't think friends is over-rated.....try and find me

I think 'Everybody Loves Raymond' is the most overrated show. I just don't understand why it's so popular. I don't find it funny at all...

Overrated: All reality shows except the Apprentice.

Under-rated - Scrubs, Arrested Development and for people that don't watch it - Buffy and Angel (I know they are both gone now but these were two great shows that some people never gave a chance)
Over-rated - Raymond, ER, Malcolm in the Middle

Malcom was an awsome show when Francis was in the army.
When he went to Alaska, thats when the show took a turn for the worst.

I'm not too up on sitcoms
Wil & Grace, Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens I see the commericals all the time, but I'v never watched them.
So my underated would have to be a show that lasted one year I thought was great Freaks & Geeks. With all the crap that lasts I was shocked this show didn't last!

Underrated: Scrubs, Arrested Development
Overrated: Most prime time shows on network tv.
I can't really say I know too many shows that are over or under rated because I don't watch that much tv anymore. As far as the couple of shows I watch (Chappelle's Show and Joe Schmo) I'm unsure as to if they are actually in either of those two categories.

Under - Totally agree with you on Made in Canada... it took my a show or 2 to get into it, but then I was addicted-- too bad it's gone, totally under-rated. Another show that I thought was under rated was Twitch City, another CBC show that they moved around so much that nobody could follow it and so everyone stopped watching (a la 22 minutes, and any other decent show that has ever been on CBC)
Over-rated - Friends, Anything reality TV.

Underrated: Samurai Jack, Six Feet Under, MXC
Overrated: Jay Leno, makeover shows (physical makeovers, wardrobe makeovers, and home makeovers), pretty much everything shown on Much Music in the last five years, and any crime show that is not either the original Law and Order or Monk.

Overrated - I must agree with the Jay Leno, he sucks, most reality tv
Underrated - FUTURAMA, I love the Simpsons but there are some Futurama episodes that blow away any episode from the Simpsons or even any other tv show, Amazing Race is the best reality show IMO
