Atta boy, Reggie. It should have been wearing a Flaming C.

Awesome. Regehr was one of those visualizing players in his Calgary tenure. He pictured what he was going to do, then he stuck his tongue out, and then he did it.
I could always see when failed our succeeded but he was a visualizing athlete.
This is a big deal. He also gave us our toughness and strength back in the day.

Can we take that deal back? I'd rather have Reggie than Butler. Please?

One of my all-time favourites, always a huge fan of his.
One of the most disappointing aspects about our 1st round losses following the 2004 run was that Regehr was almost never healthy for the playoffs unfortunately.

I loved hearing Smid on the fan 960 about a week ago say he tried to model his game around Regehr. He really liked his game and even made light of Regehr always crushing Hemsky every chance he got.

1000 games for a guy who nearly lost everything after a car crash. What a career and what an amazing story. He's a really good guy. I'm sorry he's no longer with his Flames, but I'm glad the team was able to somehow be part of his celebrations. He deserves it.

Agreed, that was really cool. They're a pretty likable organization right now.

My favourite Flame. 1000 games, against all odds. What a player. Congrats Robyn.

Thank god it wasn't. The healing for this organization would never have happened with Grumpy Gus still around. Congrats to him for playing 1000 though.

It's hard to believe that he's been gone as long as he has and still hasn't played in the Saddledome as a visitor. Assuming he doesn't get traded again, he will finally make his return at the next home game, after the Olympics on February 27.
I hope the tribute video is nothing but him putting Hemsky through the boards, and the Kotalik hit into the bench. Maybe he just really doesn't like guys named Ales.

Congrats Robyn, so far a great career and I'm sure it will continue. Talk about truculence. I think this was a player Burke would have loved in our dressing room and on the ice.

In this video he talks about how Hemsky got his stick up and cross checked him in the throat one time and ever since then he always wanted to hit him hard every time they were on the ice together. Awesome.

those hemsky poundings are great. He must have hated seeing Reggie on the ice with him.

Wow, looking back at all those highlights, Hemsky must have celebrated with champagne when he heard Regehr was heading to Buffalo.
And shed a small (many) tears at seeing in don the King's uniform.

Just spent an hour watching Regehr videos, and that led to the video of him fighting Kevin Sawyer in the famous Anaheim brawl game.
What fun. Hope the Flames have a defensman in the future that can hit, we really miss that. Seiloff, I am hoping for you.
Downey hit in Montreal, fighting Parros and Chara, hits on d'Agostino, Stalberg, Hemsky, ... the Nashville brawl. Ah great memories, was my favourite Flame.
Congrats Regehr.

The Flames have had a huge hole on the backend ever since he left. Kind of wish he was still on the team, however it was for the best to trade him. A shame the return was a pile of crap.
