I'll take the blame for this one. I tried to finish the night of the game but my eyes said no.

Sorry for the lateness on this one guys.

I appreciate the game takes but it seems like they've gotten to the point where no one really pays attention to them any longer. Just trying to give ideas and suggestions but I think something like a 20 plus /minuses of the game would be more interesting than a summary of the game. Just my opinion though I guess and no offence I just find the game takes rather boring.

I read every one and I don't find 'em boring. They're usually better done than the PGD posts on FlamesNation.

Unless it's bookofloob doing it, since he's a blast.

I don't find them boring, it's always nice to get an in depth take on the game from another fans prospective. This is especially useful for people who didn't get a chance to see the game and want to know more than just the boxscore.

Yeah, I need to jump on this too. I personally love reading the Game Takes; I don't always catch the whole and even when I do the PGT thread is more gifs and celebration then actual takes on the game.

I couldn't watch this game and appreciated the game take. If I've watched the game though, I rarely read them anymore. Probably more due to an increase in apathy towards actual hockey though. Most threads are related to prospects or potential trades. Even game threads are fairly inactive often only 4 pages long by the start of the third period

I think the recent changes to the format have been great

I really look forward to reading these for the games that I miss. For the games I attend, I like comparing how I felt to what the author has written. Love the new format.

Fair enough but I usually check the thread views and the game takes are usually the least viewed thread on the page. Maybe I'll start a plus/minus thread as I've seen on other boards and I like the idea.

Game take threads are more of a read-once, discard kind of deal. The other threads are more discussion oriented.
