meh trade, Fraser didn't look too bad but a trade between the leafs in oilers is perfect I can still hate all players involved

Hartikainen? I thought Oilers fans were certain he was going to be a player?

Hartikainen has a KHL contract until the end of next season
Abner is in the ECHL
Oilers give up nothing really.

I beleive this is where we go "Ha Ha Stupid Oilers!"
I mean do the Oilers really need another bad defenseman. Don't they have enough already?

Seeing as the Leafs are looking like a playoff team I thought they'd be looking for players that can slot into the lineup right away. Mark Fraser has been pretty terrible for them this year though, so maybe it's addition by subtraction.

I'm wondering if this is just a small move to clear cap space in order for a bigger move coming soon...

For a guy that came in and announced that he was ready to make bold moves he sure has made a lot of very small moves to go with his "0.0" bold moves.

Fraser's been getting scratched for a team that gives up 36 shots per game. He'll fit right in.
Basically just clear dead weight from their cap for the Leafs. For the Oilers.. just adding to their collection of dead weight.

That's what people say every time he makes one of these small moves but they always prove to be just that. Small moves.

Since they got Gleason, Fraser is useless and will barely ever play.
