Sunspot's in the movie! Holy cow! I loved that guy when he was introduced in The New Mutants.

Maybe they tried a different take on Quicksilver due to the Avengers movie next year having a Quicksilver in it as well. I could see the studio's collaborating a bit to make the characters quite different so that people wouldn't get confused with two speedy guys in spandex lightning bolt costumes that have different origins. Just a thought.

The rest of the characters look alright to me. The sentinel is a little awkward but I think that is the first version and maybe the larger ones look a bit better. The future ones look neat, all depends on how they are used in the flick.

I still can't believe the size of the roster though 22 characters (if you count the future and past wolverine). But I guess the majority of these characters are known and don't need a lot of fleshing out.

Future:
Wolverine (Jackman)
Professor X (Stewart)
Magneto (McKellen)
Storm (Berry)
Kitty Pryde (Page)
Iceman (Ashmore)
Colossus (Cudmore)
Warpath (Stewart)
Blink (Bingbing)
Sunspot (Canto)
Quicksilver (Peters)
Bishop (Sy)
Toad (Jonigkeit)

Past:
Wolverine (Jackman)
Professor X (McAvoy)
Magneto (Fassbender)
Mystique (Lawrence)
Beast (Hoult)
Havok (Till)
Bolivar Trask (Dinklage)
Stryker (Helman)
Ink (Not confirmed)

One thing I am looking forward to in this movie is the destruction! Just like in the cartoons, the mutants don't ever have to hold back against a sentinel. We will see some really cool displays of power.

Kind of like the first part of X-2 where Wolverine sticks his claws into that soldier... I was shocked then very excited.

Just a film about the Stewart/McKellen X and Magneto trying to save the McAvoy/Fassbender ones would've been a great concept. Seems like they've tried too hard - more X-Men, more villains, biggest cast ever! - it's almost guaranteed to be a dud.
Lol back away from the edge.

All the X-men movies have had pretty dumb third tier mutants in my opinion. They usually get little screen time anyways.

The second one didn't. Nightcrawler was awesome, as was Lady Deathstrike. Singer didn't overdo things in that one, which is one reason why it's still the best X-Men movie. Those were really the only two new mutants he introduced after the first movie.

It's a shame they couldn't bring Cumming back, as he was one of the better characters in the series.

Wait for X-Force... Although the guy who did Kick Ass 2 is directing is, so it will almost certainly be terrible.

Love the 90's X-Men and got some time to kill? Some random nerd ranks them from worst to best:

As a Cyclops apologist, I like that list.

Bunch of mutants fight other mutants. Humans try to kill mutants as well.

Every X-men movie I've seen so far has been a laughable pile of crap or just meh. And at times just confusing but without providing enough incentive to watch through to the end. The wolverine flicks are alright. But I was incredibly bored in the first prequel movie.. So I don't understand the huge hype around this one. No offense to all the x-people...

Then why did you open a thread with X-Men right in the title, let alone take the time to post in it?

You are a tool, but no offense to all the tool people...

So I hopped onto imdb to read about what this thing is actually about and as I was clicking around found a list of the entire crew for the film. There is a hilarious amount of stunt people which bodes well in my books.

One thing- why has Gambit never appeared in any X-Men movies? Why the hate? Also- no Cyclops? Boo-urns.

ah that is right I forgot. Sorry I tried to black that atrocity in film from my memory. But he was only kind of a small cameo right?
