Oh no! There goes the division and the playoffs!
Despite some of his poor play, we need Glencross around. He works hard.

I was pretty high on him being traded here and still am. A gigantic two way player with nice hands, former Boston 1st rounder. All for a measly 4th rounder in 2014. A win win for us since he's already a regular and looks to have great potential.
I swear every time he does a power move I go "Yes! Now do that a lot more!" Especially with him cutting to the net from the boards; it's not easy to defend that kind of a move with his size and reach protecting the puck.

I also felt like Colborne & Monahan had good chemistry. Their skills along with Galiardi complement each other nicely. I think it'd be up to Galiardi to dig the puck out for them with his forecheck, but having Colborne in the mix adds grit and physicality.

When he feels like it.
Not nearly as often as I'd like though...

My expectation is no. I don't think Blair Jones has a future with the franchise. Especially as kids start making the jump to pro.

Yeah, while I like him for the most part, what he brings is replaceable.

I don't mind Jones, but he hasn't exactly been anything special either. I love him on the Heat, however. I think the only risks of losing him are to teams like Edmonton that just need a bit more size and grit (though Jones is inconsistent at this), or teams that are seemingly looking like they are about to unload some players (like Florida) and need a warm body.
I think the Flames will re-sign him at some point. He is a good AHL'er, and is a decent filler for injuries. He needs to gain some consistency with his physical game if he is ever to become a regular on any team in the NHL though. Great in little bursts, but lacking in consistency.

Jones was brought in as a Feaster project.
It's not mentioned around here often enough, but Blair Jones is one of Feaster's most successful draft picks.
Up until last year, IIRC Blair Jones was the only player in the NHL who was drafted by Feaster outside of 1st overall.

Nobody's going to argue Feaster's drafting history was good, but I fail to see the value in completely fabricating a history that is not close to reality. 23 of his picks over the years have played in the NHL, most of which had appeared in the NHL prior to last year. Among those who had and remained active last season are Paul Ranger, Jay Rosehill, James Wright, Dana Tyrell and Sven Baertschi in addition to Jones and Lundin.

I guess I should have rephrased that, I didn't mean to imply he was the only Feaster draft pick to EVER play in the NHL.
When Jones was recalled last year, he was the only Feaster draft pick I could find still in the NHL other than Stamkos. I missed James Wright, and must have assumed He was out of the league on account of the fact that he had only played 1 NHL game since 09-10.
Nobody drafted by Feaster (other than Stamkos) had played full- time in the NHL since 2010-2011.
So my bad. Completely fabricated. Not even close to reality. Carry on.

LOL at those who get super sensative for not giving Feaster his due.

Feaster knocked it out of the park with that Stamkos pick though. What a drafter!

I'm nervous about bringing Cammy back in. Part of me wishes that Burke deals him when he's healthy so we don't have a Stephen Weiss situation where Cammy gets hurt and we end up with squat for him. We were lucky with Iggy last year as he stayed healthy but with Cammy's injuries this season I'd prefer to keep him on ice until after the olympic break at least and make sure he stays healthy and we get a return for him.

Cammalleri is everything this team doesn't want to be. Please get rid of him for as much as possible.

Excited to see Blair back down here. The guy just adds so much mojo to the lineup. His scoring touch helps as well of course.

While I agree it is time to trade Cammy, he has been a consummate pro and a great veteran. To say he is everything this team doesn't want is a vast overstatement.

Cammalleri is hard working? Yes, if the game is on CBC or TSN. Otherwise he's one of the laziest players this team has.
