Not overly surprised that people are not straight forward with a question such as this, it's fairly personal.

Must have missed your first post. You are not who I was talking about obviously.
And it's fine if it's personal and you want to keep it private…but then don't friggin post in the thread. It's annoying. If the thread dies because of it, so be it. It wouldn't be the first of its kind.

So, you're teaching teachers how to teach?

No it's not. I didn't ask for people to post their names and where they work. Just maybe what they do so they can be posting on CP as much as they do.
Like: "I work in an office environment and I can easily get on CP whenever". I don't think that's overly personal. Or whatever they do that allows them to get on CP as much as some people seem to be able to do.

I'm a software developer, so I pretty much always have Chrome open on one monitor and CP is usually open in a tab for quick breaks throughout the day.

True, didn't look at it that way. I actually liked the original question as I have often thought about it myself. Some days I am busy on set or at the rink and never check CP but other days I sit in my office all day. I run a couple of computers. one for corporate stuff and one two surf the web around the companies firewall. Multitasking at it's best.
Before I moved up to management I never had time to sit and surf all day.

This is the bottom line for me as I work with other guys that have worked with the company for 15-20 years and while they are certainly not numbskulls they are slow and methodical. I on the other hand have been somewhat gifted in that I can process things very quickly. Always the first done exams in school/college and able to cruise through job specifications, put together drawing packages, find suitable electrical/instrumentation parts, order them and have the job on cruise control in half the amount of time it takes co-workers. Of course this makes me look like an all-star and the go-to guy for rush jobs but at the same time there's only so much work to go around so I get my tasks done fast and at times I am left with days/weeks of in-between time in projects where I don't have a lot on my plate. That's why I can be online a fair bit.
