Clients that upload a large amount of files (ie a couple hundred) to an ftp server...that does not have a batch download feature activated. WTF. There's better things I could be doing with my time then clicking each freakin' link 1 by 1 and having to wait for each one, when it could have been all done in 1 click. Fudge.

^^^ That "thanks" are kind of ambiguous, like the above. I guess they're better than FB likes, but.. what is being implied by that? "Thanks for being ill with bronchitis" ?

I would guess more along the lines of "I agree" than thanks for being sick.

I can't believe I haven't caught it yet since I moved back actually. I'm such a Band-Aid in the winter, I get bronchitis every year, usually even twice a year. It's the worst. Somehow I've avoided it for over a year, just waiting for the other shoe to drop, so overdue. Maybe I was just allergic to Edmonton...

I agree but what I was saying is how busy the area is compared to how small everything is. Used those restaurants as examples since I'm familiar with the industry and didn't want to just make up stats

The lady in front of me seemed to be taking a while, and then I saw a bunch of happy meals go through; so I figured she must have had some special requests for the kids.
Then my turn, I ordered a Big Mac meal and a McDouble. We waited almost 5 minutes for our order from the time I pulled up to the 2nd window. 2 minutes of that was because they poured me a large iced tea instead of medium, and apparently their automated drink machine can't make an extra drink out of sequence.

I don't live in that area and used to agree with you, until I went to the one in Lacombe, one time. When we walked in there was about 4 people in line in front of us. 20 minutes later we ordered something and got the food about 10 minutes after that.
That may have been in those crazy days when fast food restaurants could not find people to hire, in 2008, as it looked very short staffed, but it was by far the longest time ever to get food at a Macdonalds

People who unnecessarily stop at yellow lights. Floor it you GD p***ies.
I'm not talking about when there is a yellow light camera (you should know where those are) or if traffic is waiting to turn left in front of your lane; I'm talking about situations where it is perfectly safe and reasonable to let a few more cars through the intersection without affecting anybody, but some struggler slams on his brakes.

If you have to floor it to make the yellow light then you should just stop.

HFboards has a feature that automatically resizes any posted image if it's too large. You then get a bar at the bottom of the image to click which makes it full size. Very handy and you never get any page destroyers in their picture threads. It uses the same forum software as CP so I don't see why that couldn't be incorporated here

Something doesn't jive here. If you have to floor it to get through the light, you're not having to slam on your brakes in order to stop for it.
Also, we should know where the yellow light cams are? Are there huge signs I'm not aware of?
