Teams trading chances makes for an entertaining game. Love this kind of fast paced play

Nope, he's struggling. Stupid of Jones to bat the puck towards Calgary's net though.

He is becoming a 1/2 for the Flames. Not sure why I'd care if he was on another team? Doesn't make him less good.

Be more specific next time.

I agree can't believe the first is almost done. Maybe it's because I am on a hockey withdrawal. Too many days in between

Berra playing the puck a lot more lately. Can't decide if I like it or if it terrifies me

Who's a good player comparable for Bouma's potential?

Don't think the Bouma - Stajan - Jones line is our top line Mckenzie. But I still love you

Brodie being a 1/2 on a contending team has nothing to do with this game. The only reason you want him to "be more specific" is to refute that.
Anyway, good game so far eh? Any comments about it?

Good period by Bouma, and Backlund. Tough start of the game for Brodie, on the two goals, still think he is going to be a great 1/2 on this team

has he signed with tsn? id be really sad if we couldn't get the odd Cuthbert call because he signed a 20 year deal for exclusive CFL casting rights

Loved the energy and overall team game that period. Hudler is looking tired these days. Just not driving the play like he was earlier in the year. Backlund was the best player for either team in that period. Read an article recently where he attributed his season turnaround to the Father's road trip. Decided to play with more confidence and courage and not always pass the puck away. I'm loving Backlund these days…let's hope he keeps it up.
