The "hide headgear" option will be your friend. I'm very picky about what my characters look like. I was a bit irked finding out that some 'chest' gear had hoods that you couldn't "hide", which I thought pretty much defeated the purpose of the 'hide headgear' option in the first place. It makes even less sense when you consider the amount of facial customizing you can do...and then it gets auto-hidden under an ugly hood you can't get rid of.

The Stetson or Bane hat is a really tough to come by drop. Some of the head gear especially on the force users is pretty terrible. With my dark side users I bought the Erradicator set and mask, and its very cool I also use it with the Jedi but use a brown dye pack and hide the mask.

I like the hoods up use.

Right now the ugliest armor though is based around the bounty hunter which should be the coolest.

My coolest look is my Imperial Intelligence agent.

My Jedi look like Jedi. My Sith are always cloaked and in black.

I like hoods up on darkside and hoods down on lintside. For smugglers I like nice hats and long leatheris jackets and ammo belts and such. Maybe a set of sunglasses.l

I just saw your in-game mail now and it looks like I missed you. Are you still around tonight? I can send that invite.

I got the invite, and joined. Sorry I missed you.

I was doing some dailies with my inquisitor. I'm trying to level up his armor to the max level.

I guess the next idea would be to schedule a "games night" for the guild to get together and start doing some raiding and flashpoints. With my schedule the best time for me is usually one weekends.

Also so we can get used to each other we should probably run through some of the easier flash points and such first.

My schedule is wonky, a bit. When I'm on days off (10 days straight) I spend as much time as possible with my family so my play time can be erratic. When I am at work (20 days or nights straight) I can usually get an hour or two in each day, but the timing varies. If I'm on day shift I usually get on around 7 PM. If I'm on night shift it's either around 7AM, or 3PM, depending on when I wake up/go to bed.

Hopefully I don't make it too difficult to work with.

Nice Thor, let me know what kind of character you've rolled, and your character name and I'll look and see if I have some stuff that would make a good starter kit for you, plus a little bit of cash to get things going.

Started up 6 characters yesterday trying to decide which I like best. So far jedi shadow and commando are my favorites. I just cannot get the hang of the smuggler, I'm always forgetting to get to cover.

I have issues coming up with names so pretty much all my characters are named after flames lol. Looking forward to grouping up with a few people who are also starting guys over.

On a side note I sure do notice a large "jerkoff to non jerkoff ratio" on the empire side vs the republic side. I started 4 republic characters and 2 empire and the empire chat was full of children arguing. Additionally I had a level 25 follow me from level 7-11 constantly trying to duel me no matter how many times I declined. On the empire side I couldn't play for more then 5 minutes without a duel request being spammed on me, republic side maybe 2-3 requests total.

^ I haven't played a ton on Republic side, but in what I have played, I've run into more people on Empire side who seem to know what they're doing than on Republic.

^ that could explain the attitude. The more knowledgable players tend to have a lot less patience for "newbies".

This is pretty good. I think we're up to 10 in the guild now, and that isn't including Thor and Diemenz.

Usually most people jump onto the empire side first they want to be Sith's or Bounty Hunters or spies. There is also a moral question where its easier to run around being a jerk face because that's what you are.

One of the things that I would do with newbie Empire players with my Sith Warrior would be to find a rebel player on a planet and then go and talk to empire players and offer them $100,000 dollars to track down and kill the republic player. First one with proof, a screen shot would get the money.

Just doing my part.

I rarely duel to be honest.

I do have a moral code. I rarely attack players that are below me. There are too many level 55 players hanging out on planets like Tatooine ganking players at level 30 or below and then sitting there waiting for them to revive to do it over again.

I also don't attack someone who's already engaged in a fight, its equivalent to back stabbing.

I was playing on the republic side as my trooper and I was level 55 and I went back to do some heroics on Coruscant and there were 3 level 40 guys on Coruscant beating up one guy who was like level 15 over and over again. So I cloaked and followed them for a long time as they went into a quest area, I waited in hiding until they got engaged in a battle with an elite and killed them, waiting for them to rez and kept killing them until one of them whined that they just wanted to finish their quest, and I basically asked them about the guy that they kept killing and how he probably just wanted to finish his quest. Then I told them that I had a jug of coffee and could sit there all day killing them over and over again and they might as well rez back at the nearest empire base and come back and I might be there and I might not.

But they did and I left.

One other thing if you do get notice a member of the opposite faction chasing after you. find the nearest elite mob, so get them to chase you into a heroic area, and when he attacks you get him between you and a elite mob and give him a push so that the mob aggro's and kills him while you sit back and laugh at him.

Just a heads up before you level him too much, the CP guild is on Republic side, so if you wanted to join up you'd have to make a Trooper.
