Explain to me what's with the Nazi sign guys in Calgary?

They are usually downtown, claiming that a majority of Canadians are Nazis or Nenshi and Harper are Nazis and now they are wearing signs claiming that the Chinese and Jews of Calgary are also Nazis and everybody should be ashamed.

Can somebody explain to me what is up with these guys? What are they protesting? What do they believe in? I think the primary guy's name is Milan Papez and he was running for mayor?

Yeah, I saw this guy last year at the SAIT C-Train station. He was handing out flyers. I took one because he looked crazily interesting. The person I was with said he didn't want one and the guy started yelling at him as we walked down the stairs. I read the pamphlet when I got home and, as advertised, it was crazily interesting.

Can I add on to this? My daughter and I were down in Lethbridge yesterday. There was a spot near Fort Macleod, I think it was, where there were all these people standing on the side of the road and in the turnaround thingy between the east/west lanes of traffic, holding signs. Couldn't make out what they said - whatever they're protesting, perhaps they ought to make better signs.

Anyone know what that's about?

Basically 35 years ago his son was convicted of mischief and assault. He was represented by a public defender who was Jewish. He believes that lawyer screwed him over and so he began a public hate-filled defamation campaign against that lawyer based on his race. Later on they were convicted for hate-crimes because of their protests. Somehow this hatred spewed onto all other races (such as the above where he's written that the Chinese population of Calgary should all be cremated alive, all babies be drowned in the bow river, etc.) and Jews sent back to Auschwitz.

I honestly have no idea what these guys are on about but they've been at it for a LONG time. When I was working downtown 2 years ago they were at the corner of my street every god damn day spewing their nonsense. I believe in freedom of speech but I cannot for the life of me understand why this guy is allowed to stand out in public and broadcast messages of hate and ignorance.

This has always confused me. There is no race of Jews right? They all come from somewhere. It's not like being black or white. Nor is it like being Ukrainian or even Israeli. Jewish is a religion. Am I missing something?

He's mentally ill. Getting mad at him makes no sense. If you hit him, he'll call you a Nazi. If you yell at him you're a Nazi. If you ignore him, Nazi. If you agree with him, you're probably a Nazi agent trying to infiltrate his organization.

Because he's a fringe lunatic who is gaining very little to no traction. Why waste resources on him, this guy isn't the next Hitler, nobody is going out of their way to listen to him and execute his "grand plan".

At the end of the day, one day he'll vanish and his hateful ideology and nobody will miss him or carry on his work and he'll be dust in box.

Its not worth the money in prosecuting this guy.

He's a joke and not worth the time.

If you want to do something, do what that Chinese guy did in the first picture and make fun of him.

The Jewish people are considered an ethnoreligious group. Wikipedia definition follows:

Jewish is both a cultural/racial and a religious designation.

Atheist, or non-practicing Jewish people are typically refereed to as "Culturally Jewish", at least by Jewish friends/co-workers I have spoken with.
