In the 'Hawk game...Bickell, who has been in Q's doghouse, lately, Benched...the ineffective 3rd line has had the 7th D-Man, Kostka with badly slumping Handzus (zero points in 13 games) and Versteeg, who also has done nothing lately...
In Chicago, the speculation is that the 'Hawks make a move for a #2 center (a deficiency that has existed for years)...Currently Shaw, a #3 kind of guy, has had no Chemistry with Kane...It appears that Q has no patience with Pirri, now buried in Rockford, will be dangled, and perhaps Rozival or Brookbank will have to be moved to make cap space for a #2 Center.
It is clear that Handzus is at the end of the line, and is no better than a faceoff specialist. Kruger has gotten a try at #2 Center, but it is clear the Q prefers him as the Shutdown Defensive Center position on the 4th line.

The Preds if they lose tonight might just be the first team to come through Alberta without picking up at least one point.

I expect that you guys will see Raanta at the Saddledome on Tuesday, with Crawford getting the Canucks, on Wednesday...
Unfortunately, I'll be stuck at work until 2300hrs MST...and won't be able to see the Flames/Hawks game until I get home and watch the DVR...
Kane and Sharp have cooled off, and many Chicago fans suspect that Toews is nursing a wrist problem...as Kruger often is put out with him to take D-Zone draws....the 'Hawk O has been dominant in possession, but awful in finishing for about 3 weeks.
The 4th Line, Smith/Kruger/Bollig has been the best line on the ice for many of those nights.
Playing Leddy with a 3 guy rotating Partner, one of Brookbank/Rozival/Kostka, has not been good for his development, in the opinion of many 'Hawk fans. Brookbank seems to be the best fit for him.

I know this is Flames territory, and I am going to take considerable flack for what I am about to say. But watching the Jets beat the Hawks in Chicago was better than an orgasm. I think I need a smoke!

Oilers 5-1 over Nashville?
Scrivens named 1st star according to the network I was watching.
Not exactly what I thought would happen today.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a nice winning streak for Edmonton.

Between Florida winning and Edmonton winning, this was a great OOT scoreboard for us tonight.

We need a confessions thread - as I think you just admitted you haven't had a good sex life.
