Regardless who had or has higher standards between Metallica and KISS, KISS sounded like a hot mess tonight. Also about as relevant as the Black Plague.

I used to be a big Metallica fan, actually. Never was into Kiss. But Metallica was never a tight live band.

Sorry boys n girls, but if Dimebag were alive, and they shed their past differences and somehow came together, Pantera would blow the stadium away.

Funny you say that, I had a customer today with the same legal name as Dimebag today.

I dunno, maybe expand the ice surface to 250x120 for outdoor games. It's ok on camera but for some reason I always sympathize for those sitting far away in the stands. Maybe it wouldn't help much. I'm sure it would open up the game and change it too much. It would be interesting! Haha

The best part of this outdoor game- no Jim Hughson!! After hearing Bob Cole doing the leafs game, I assumed Hughson and Simpson would be calling this one.

No one is going to sound great in that situation. That's just a given. Kiss was an understandable choice because they can shamelessly fill a ridiculous stage like that where most bands would look like soaked squirrels.

LOL, I am sure he has heard it all before, but I kinda didn't want to bring it up. "Hey cool! You are named after a dude that got shot in the face in front of a few thousand people!."

They should have had Zombie 2Pac perform California Love. That would have been better than Zombie KISS.

Yeah, not cool.

And it was a few hundred. The bar wasn't that big. But I digress.

What would be the most ridiculous artist to play on the second intermission?

Answer: Limp Bizkit.
