I am a little disappointed that there's no late game other than the outdoor game this evening. I would prefer to watch a western Canadian team play rather than watch an outdoor game not involving the Flames I may be alone but they have really lost their lustre with me.

He is still top 15 in save percentage and top 15 in GAA if you take out back-ups.

I would still have him as the starter likely with Luongo as back-up but I think Team Canada still is too sentimental and go with Luongo as the starter because he "was the guy in 2010."

I would rather watch LA-Anaheim, indoor or outdoor, than a Canucks or Oilers game.

meh, I think the Sabres are too far anyway. The only teams we need to watch are the Panthers and Islanders. Sabres and Oilers have 1/2 sewn up.

If we keep up 3 wins in 11 game stretches here, the Oilers and Sabres can catch us pretty quick.

Mind you, I tuned into a bit of Strudwick's post game show yesterday and he broached the subject - albeit gently - with Jason Gregor that with 30 games left in the season and the games becoming more important, that the Oilers might not win too many more.

A hattrick for Tyler Johnson tonight. He now co-leads all rookies in points (34, tied with MacKinnon) and is 2nd in goals (16, one behind MacKinnon) ... not bad for a 5'9 center. What a find by the Lightning, continues to amaze me.

Great look away from byfuglien. Totally fooled Bernier. That's what separates the elite from the ordinary.

Damn I wished the Flames chased Buff back when he signed in ATL.

I was supposed to go to the game but have the flu. Fun game to watch. I doubt anyone watches this outdoor game, I didn't even know they had another tomorrow.

I bet way more people watch this game than the Jets game.

The atmosphere in LA looks amazing. Gene Simmons does not.

Paul's voice must be blown out for the 50th time. He didn't sing any of his lines. Guess he'll be on the IR.

Wow, looks to be the first outdoor game that isn't a sellout.

That was live, Gene sounded awful.

But then again it's relative. KISS always sounds awful. But that was live.

Really? Because that sounded like an aging rockstar, sucking wind and changing the vocal arrangements so he doesn't miss any notes. If that was pre-recorded than he was doing it wrong.
