And then there's the criminal behaviour, again, not what most 19 year olds do. Though I supppose he is doing what the typical spoiled, entitled, rich 19 year old kid does.

I did a lot of foolish things in my young life but I never, ever resisted arrest or thought I was above the law. This is the difference as this kid as well as a lot of other celebrities don't take breaking the law seriously and feel they are above it.

We all know what's going to happen here. Bieber's handlers and the record studios have too much to lose by letting him get kicked out of the country. He's going to get a slap on the wrist and move on like this never happened.

You never drove a car at 0.04 when you were 19?

I'm sure I was 0.04 at some point (2 beers for 19 year old me) and had my parents Buick Le Sabre up to 80km/h in a 50 zone.

The only difference between me and Bieber is I was a lot poorer and less attractive to girls, and my car was a lot slower, and it wasn't even mine, and whenever I got pulled over by the cops I was the nicest boy in the world (but still never got let off).

Other than that, me and you, we aren't so different Bieber.

He knows that many people consider him lame, so he over-compensates by trying to be gangsta.

the term "wanksta" is appropriate for Bieber.

Nope, not once. I'm not saying we didn't do stupid thing, but we always had a rotating designated driver amongst us. 100% of the time. There's never an excuse for drinking and driving. It's just as deadly at 16 or 19, as it is at 40.

Again, nope. If I acted like this little twatbag, I'd probably be disowned.

What, you mean the dozen black dudes hanging out with him doesn't make him legit?

I would pay good money to see his little posse come upon a real LA gang. I have a feeling there would be crying, and there might finally be a reason for his pants to droop as much as they do.

Biebs exists solely for our entertainment. He's the Rob Ford of music. And Rob Ford has become awesome because of his antics.

Hopefully Biebs stoops even lower and ends up in a US supermax someday. THAT would be hilarious.

Not that I condone or excuse his behaviour, but I wonder how many of our older generations idols got away with this kind of stupid crap. Cops are pretty tough on celebrities these days, no breaks for being famous, as it should be, but that wasn't always the case.

I also know that most of us would have some gaffes on our records if we were making 50M a year at that age.

Except 0.04 isn't drinking and driving here... it's legal, and even more so when we were 19.

You're telling me you never had 2 beers and drove a car when you were 19?

I just looked up what Sizzurp was, and I have to wonder whatever happened to just stealing your parents' liquor?

Unfortunately, Bieber may not have been drunk. It is now being reported that his BAC was 0.014, not 0.04.

I think it had more to do with him being on drugs, rather than him being drunk on alcohol.

Haha, nope. My personal limit has always been 1 drink if I'm driving. I've always been paranoid about that.

Sorry to let you down...I'm pretty square, but I would guess there are a lot more people like me than there are those like Bieber who drink, take drugs (both kinds!) and then get behind the wheel to race.

Depends who the driver is. More often than not 0.04 is drinking and driving in Alberta because a 19 year old driver is likely a GDL driver. GDL is zero tolerance so even 0.01 is unacceptable.

Maybe I'm out of touch but I don't think drinking cough syrup based beverages is a typical activity for 19 year olds.

I'm making some assumptions on Table 5's age, but I'm pretty sure GDL didn't exist when we were 19.

Well I'm almost as square. I had a 1 drink limit that I probably broke only once or twice at that age. Now I'll have two no problem as I've played with a police grade breathalyzer and realize it takes more than that to hit 0.05 for me.

And I never raced my parents buick after a beer. I was way too paranoid. But I did roast my coworkers Cavalier in the Golden Acre parking lot after work. I had to show him that his direct port injection was no match for 3.8L of fury... producing a whopping 170hp....
