WGMG's is how seriously some people take this forum and posts made here. I'm posting and reading here for entertainment and fun. I just don't get why some seem to harass posters because of a post and in many cases pile on. I just want to come, read some Flames/and or other news/info and have some fun.

GMG when people don't quote the link in the Kijiji Hilarities thread and by the time I get to viewing it, the ad is gone. Work is boring today. I need some entertainment.

I believe there will come time when boy/girl, man/woman, female/male words will be at some point considered inappropriate and then squeezed out of Canadian English language. I practically have no doubts of that.

Man I just think you're a little confused as to what sexist actually is. In the case you referenced above:
"A girl said "kicks and giggles". I hate that phrase" - Not sexist
"A guy said "kicks and giggles" and I laughed, but girls shouldn't be able to say it" - sexist.
In reference to your earlier pile-on, you stated that girls who play certain sports makes them look less feminine, and thus shouldn't do them. Feminine is a subjective term. Some guys might like the thick thighs girls get from playing hockey or soccer, and those traits certainly do not apply to all girls who plays those sports. Just like some girls might think a guy who can cook is more masculine than the guy who spends all his time at the gym. But it was your opinion, and while perhaps worded poorly, you were probably unfairly piled on.

The Captain and Tennille - getting divorced:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...s-of-marriage/
A study from Bowling Green State University found that divorce among couples age 50 and older, once practically unheard of, doubled between 1990 and 2009, and one in four couples divorcing is over 50. A new phrase, “gray divorce,” has been coined to describe the trend.

I doubt it.
Why would they be inappropriate?

Not at all. I think you are confused as to what should and what should not require extra attention and deliberation in a casual conversation. Relax a bit, this is not an Alberta Human Rights Commission hearing.

The fact that any time there is a transaction - whether it be a signing, a trade, a callup, someone posts 'truculence'.
So very played.

Pot holes - but more specifically when you're just coming out of a left turn and there is a huge, unavoidable pot hole / sink hole previously obscured by the median.
I also hate the tease of a sign for the 64th Ave NE exit when you're on NB Deerfoot. I know it's stupid and my own fault, but that sign gets me every time. Instinctively I want to get into the right-most lane as soon as that exit sign appears, but then the lane ends about 50 metres later.
