Byron's not on a line at the skate:
Aaron Vickers@AAVickers32 secs
#Flames lines this AM: Westgarth-B.Jones-McGrattan, Hudler-Backlund-Stempniak, Bouma-Stajan-D.Jones, Galiardi-Monahan-Colborne

Hmm, what to watch? A snoozer Coyotes game, or ladies tennis.

Would like to see B. Jones get some time on this line in place of Galiardi. Thought he did well when Byron went down.

I'm sure you can find something more entertaining than either of these. There has to be a Storage Wars marathon or something on.

It depends if Dave Tippet storms the locker room. If not then they will be fine. If so then expect a fine.

According to coach Hartley, Byron's being kept out tonight as a precaution. Extra healthy bodes gives them that luxury.

A Flames win is always nice, but at least a loss would make the playoff race a little more competitive on the Canucks.

As much as it's nice to be in a spot for a top 3 pick, I wouldn't mind seeing a home win to snap the streak. Wonder what happened since Christmas to make things slide so much. Not that we were winning much to begin with, but at least the games were more consistently entertaining. Last time they won at home was vs. Phoenix, the day my son was born, and he's now 7 weeks old!
Here's hoping for an entertaining game and a win.

These are ugly stats:
Darren Haynes@DarrenHaynes_CP3 mins
It’s been nearly six weeks since Calgary has led on home ice. Dec. 12, day of Feaster's firing, McGrattan scored first in 2-1 OT win vs Car.
Darren Haynes@DarrenHaynes_CP2 mins
During Flames last eight home games (including Dec. 23 win vs Stl), Calgary hasn’t led at all and has trailed for 370:21 (over six hours!).

First of a 5 game homestand. We'll win at least two of them, but not tonight. The Preds and the Wild we'll beat.

I would be a very happy man if we never played the Coyotes again.
