Jankowski continues to improve. I think many people (including myself) forget how young he truly is compared to his draft class. The kid just turned 19 in September.
Culkin 0pts +2 in a 3-0 win over Moncton
Gordon 2G + 1A +3 in a 5-0 lead over Prince Albert 3 minutes left in 2nd period
Kulak 0pts even in a 3-0 deficit with Tri City 2 minutes left in 2nd period

Anyone watch coda play? Has his skating improved? Because the kid was a worse skater than Howse/Nemisz when he was drafted and it is the #1 reason he wouldn't succeed as a pro.
Johnny shines so brightly, he makes those around him glow: Kevin Hayes was named Hockey East player of the week for his 3G/4A, 7 point performance. Gaudreau (2G/5A) and Arnold (1G/3A) were named top performers.
Gaudreau and Hayes are now 1-2 in the nation in points, and Arnold is tied for 4th. Prior to this season, Hayes had 17G/50A for 67 points in 102 games at BC. This year, he has 16G/26A for 42 points in 23 games.
In other great Flames prospects with the initials JG news: Jon Gillies was named Hockey East defensive player of the week, stopping 55 of the 59 shots he faced over two games in Colorado. Despite being named goaltender of the month 2 out of 3 times this season, this is only the second time Gillies has been named defensive player of the week.
In the weekly polls:
Boston College jumped from 4th to 2nd in the USCHO.com poll; and from 4th to 3rd in the USA Today poll.
Providence remained in 7th in the USCHO.com poll; and dropped from 6th to 7th in the USA Today poll.
Yale swapped places in the two polls, moving from 8 to 10 in the USCHO.com poll; and from 10 to 8 in the USA Today poll.
BC wins 4-1. The first goal was the only one for the Gaudreau-Arnold-Hayes line. Gaudreau and Hayes extended their point streaks, but Arnold's came to an end.
Gaudreau now sits at exactly 2.0PPG, with 48 points (21G/27A) in 24 games.
