Boyle is -3 on this team (one of the few) and has 22 points and Russell is only a few points behind with a better +/-. Vlasic is a decent defender, but Gio is the better player IMO. Hertl is as good as Monahan but has waaaaay more offensive support to help his point totals. Niemi is definitely overrated (team plays a really good defensive system around him) and Ramo has looked pretty comparable to him this game.
Quite frankly, the Sharks are a very overrated team, and have been for years, hence the many, many playoff losses.
