I feel bad for the young Canuck Lain. Family and friends fly out to see him play, Torts shoves him out there to challange our goons... great 2 senconds of a debut.

who is the larger Dbag, Kesler or Bieksa? I mean they both rank 10/10. But one has to have an edge on the other. The fact they are Canucks just makes the universe right. We should get a poll going to see who the hugest Dbag Vancouver employs is.

Third period needs a bit of typical 'nucks diving to round out this awesome Hockey day in Canada

The Hanzal crosscheck to the ribs on Thursday was pretty decent and got Hanzal fined $5K. I bet if he didn't have an iron man streak he would have been a scratch tonight.

Vancouver certainly doesn't seem like the same team as the past few years. Going to be fun watching their slow decline.

That was the most timid "Calgary has done well" quote I've heard in a while.

"The Flames have sometimes kind of carried the play at times"

Backing up a bit, the four Flames who got tossed, all of them won their fights.

Full credit to Smid, Butler, Jones and Westguard... especially the first three for stepping up considering they are not the usual fighters.

Burrows. Pos is pretty tough with the full shield.

And after that, Kesler by a mile over Bieksa. Bieksa at least stepped in to take the opening draw even though his coach was willing to throw a raw rookie in there
