Galiardi scratched for B. Jones' return after missing 12 games


David Jones and Kris Russel have both been cleared by medical to return to play, but Hartley is holding off until he's sure they're 100% ready.

“David Jones should be in the lineup in the next few games,” Hartley said. “He has been cleared but at the same time, he didn’t skate for six, seven days and he was basically shut down for quite a few days so I think that conditioning-wise, we just want to make sure.

“Russell is the same thing. He has been cleared but with the knee injury and everything, there’s no way we’re going to take a chance with any one of our guys in the lineup if we feel that fitness-wise, they’re not at the top.”

Sedin's ironman streak is the second-longest active streak, only 4 games shorter than Bouwmeester's.

Lack has played well against the Flames this season, and the Flames can't score on a shooter tutor at this point, so there's no point in rushing Luongo back, although, a slower-paced game could help him get his timing back.

If he plays, here's hoping he gets lit up and loses all confidence.

Henrik Sedin will be a game time decision with bruised ribs. Burrows might also return tonight after missing 20 games with a broken jaw. Santorelli apparently wearing a sling this morning so he's probably not playing. Luongo might play tonight as well. Recent callup Kellen Lain also possibly playing in place of Booth, who is also a game-time decision.
