It's MacLean's typical "I'm clever, at a deeper level than you" schtick, because they're in Lloydminster today, who's "claim to fame" is having half the town in AB, and the other in SK, thus his split jersey.
Doesn't make it acceptable at all, however.

If Sundin is a first ballot hall of famer than St. Louis is an absolute slam dunk. Stanley Cup, Hart Trophy, a couple Art Ross trophies, he'll have over 1000 points and 400 goals by the time he's done.
Still can't believe Sundin was first ballot and in over Shanahan.

The Oilers have a 1-0 lead, Eberle scored on the power play.
The Rangers are up 3-1. Nash scored in the middle of the second period. Stepan scored with twelve seconds left in the period and has assists on the other two goals.
The Sharks now lead 5-4. They were down 4-2 but two goals from Pavelski 21 seconds apart tied the game. Irwin just scored with a minute left in the second period.

Laughable defense by the Oilers. Scheifele just blew past Perron on theboards, then blew by Petry who had a soft check attempt, then past the stick check of Marincin who somehow tried to block a passing lane behind the net of all places and let Scheifele walk straight out in front instead.
Bryz blew a gasket.
