Wow, Flames games are getting tougher and tougher to watch.... Pretty soon the Dome is going to be empty.

4 goals in 7 games at home yikes....

Flames were unable to avoid their franchise record 7th straight loss on home ice.
That's a pretty interesting tidbit, found it a little surprising actually.

Eric Francis (yes, I know) made the comment that when Hudler fell with about 30 seconds left in the 2nd period that Hudler had given up.

Apparently Hudler got up skated to the bench, slammed his stick and went down the tunnel.

You think, Eric, maybe Hudler had actually hurt himself on the fall...tweaked something? instead of throwing him under the bus and saying he gave up.

That comment from EF totally pissed me off. I dont see Hudler as the type of guy that gives up.

Anyone have any further insights?

Not sure what Eric was talking about during the 2nd intermission, however I did get the impression Hudler definetely looked frustrated.

He said veterans shouldnt be displaying that type of attitude (frustration).
Needs to be more of a Pro.
Cant be giving up.
etc etc.

With the way Hudler fell, i thought he might have tweaked something. But maybe I'm wrong and he was just pissed off.

Hudler has definitely lazed back after a frustrating play a couple of times this year.

The one time led to a game winning goal against but I can't remember who against.

I doubt that he went to dressing room because of frustration but him skating off lazily and slamming his stick in frustration certainly is possible based on his past actions.

Dear Rob Kerr,

Please stop using the term "buzzing" to describe extended action in the offensive zone.

K thx.
