? I never said it was a good thing its just astonishing that their dream team of top picks is worse than this piece of poo.

and the Flames lost to the tigers again this year, pretty sure they tried their best this time

I can't see it getting worse than this. We may still end up at the bottom of the league next year but I guarantee that a fresh batch of young guys and rookies--and I expect at least four or more in the lineup next year-- will be able to entertain more than this. I maintain that this is rock bottom.

what is it with hockey these days? wristshots hurt players.

I don't recall players getting hurt by shots when I was a kid.

Bouma is quite effective - blocks a ton of shots - kills penalties and finishes every check

Stick technology changing over time is my guess. Quicker and harder wrist shots these days.

But people keep saying we're better than the Oilers like it's supposed to be some accomplishment. We win by default. We are a terrible team and the "work ethic" is a myth.

Because half of Calgary these days has recently emigrated from another province.

Haven't seen TTC for a while, maybe he was part of that fracas in the front row.

Probably pulling the price tags off those Jets' jersies in the crowd to start it.

Yeah, because it's totally Westgarths fault.
