No this is a public school.

When you say "public" you mean non-catholic? Who the hell gave them that? Why is it called an " answer book"? Does it give you references to a bible passage?
Why are non-christians on the cover? So many questions, I wish I had an answer book.

Yeah - eff that. Religious groups have no business advertising their beliefs to kids in a secular setting like a public school. I'd be calling the school board to get some "answers" about that one.

Is this a rogue teacher? Like the 'holocaust never happened' teacher a few years back?

It also grinds my gears that this is presented as "answer book".

I'd raise #### with the school, it is not their job to teach religion.

No it's easy to argue with.
That's her (sexist) opinion. Yes, women can be sexist too. If she was to say, "Guys should work out, because it makes them more healthy" Well there you have an objective fact and you're all good.

- Yes Public, non-catholic
- I don't know yet, only saw it last night when I got home from work @ 11 pm
- Not sure, but I did find this, will watch it later
- Yes appears it does
- Your last question confuses me

Don't know, I don't think it is a rogue teacher. As I said I only saw this last night. I want to ask my girl where she got it.

I have no problem with a free bible being made available at school for my child, should they decide to take one.
We always need good kindling for our fireplace.

I remember the Gideon bibles being distributed in our school as a kid (Grade 5 ish?), but this was a small town farming community where everyone was Christian (or just not practicing). I'm surprised that this was allowed in an urban public school in this day and age.

I'm curious- when Christians on facebook post pictures of an aborted fetus, are they hoping to sway the opinion of a person that believes in the right to choose, or are they just initiating some strange and twisted type of Christian circle jerk?? I realize the latter accusation is somewhat heinous, but they can't possible think people see the picture and say "Oh, I didn't realize that an aborted fetus was such a ghastly sight, I think I will change my opinion on the subject"???

I got one of those in a Calgary Public School at around the same grade (this was probably in the early 90s. Wow, I'm old balls). I didn't think much of it then, but looking back on it now it is completely inappropriate.

I don't know why, I don't have a good reason, but I can't stand colored paper clips.

I can't stand colored pants.
Pants should be a neutral color - black, brown, grey, denim, or white (if you can pull it off). People that are walking around in brightly colored pants, it just drives me bonkers.

Isn't the third guy from the left wearing a type of yamulke? I also thought the guy wearing the sideways hat was wearing a taqiya, didn't notice the bill.

Isn't it the same as posting a diseased lung on a cigarette pack? And apparently the pictures of diseased lungs actually help reduce smoking.
I view those pictures as kind of like eating meat. If you are uncomfortable knowing how your meat gets from the farm through the kill floor to your plate, you probably shouldn't eat meat.
