Hi admins and owners who run this place.

I was bored today and felt creative, so I designed a new logo for you guys. Hope you like it....

Needs more black...

More black, a deeper red, more horizontal (to fit in the current size approx) and a little less like a clipart look would be my feedback..

I like it. I agree that it needs a deeper red though. The current orange reminds me of the old Calgary Flames jerseys. And for what it's worth, I'm not a graphic designer, and you should take anything anyone who is not in the graphics industry says with a grain of salt. They don't do it for a living, and you'd know better than they.

The Calgarypuck text needs to be in proper perspective to the puck, not simply curved around the edge of the puck.

Definitely seconding a new logo. The current one doesn't really do the board justice IMO

I like the concept but it just needs a little tweaking. Maybe instead of a plain 'C' throw the flaming 'C' on the puck. Then make the flames behind the puck a little more streamline and fix up the 'calgarypuck.com' text.

Well, this is pretty much just a first concept, and took me maybe an hour to throw together. If the owner is seriously willing to use a new logo, then he can post here or PM me, otherwise, no more changes for naught.
