CDC has put out the word on their forums, and also with the nux HFboards page. They are voting for their prospect Hutton, in which he currently leads.
Johnny deserves this much more than Hutton. Keep voting mates, and spread the word.
Hutton: 1515 votes
Gaudreau: 1324 votes
Remeber, there's abot 80+ days left for voting.

Voted for Johnny. I used to play hockey with the Jones twins, Kellen and Connor. I had no idea they were playing for Quinnipiac. That's pretty cool.

I checked out this Hutton bozo:
Ben Hutton, Maine
T-1st G (defencemen) in Div I NCAA
Compare with:
John Gaudreau
1st in PTS in Div I NCAA
1st in G in Div I NCAA
5th in A in Div I NCAA

It's especially preposterous when one considers that Gaudreau is the first player in the NCAA to flirt with the 2.00 pts/game mark in over a decade.

Voted again.
Current numbers:
Gaudreau-1473
Hutton-1644
If Arnold's 353 votes were added to Gaudreau he'd be winning.

The fan vote means nothing. Hutton could win by a billion votes and it wouldn't matter. The Hobey Baker is a seniors trophy. The last six winners have been seniors even though they were not as good as some of their underclass men. 23 of 33 winners have been seniors. This will be the only thing that holds Gaudreau back, as his résumé is loaded with accomplishments that no one else can come close to competing with. Save yourself some time and let the Canucks nerds have their fun. Hutton won't make the final three.

I voted 6 times this morning for Johnny from the same computer. It is easy, just install the Hola extension onto Chrome browser and then click on different countries and go vote again. It is very easy and creates a pseudo VPN that has numerous countries that you can bounce your traffic through.

If there was an opportune time to award the Hobey Baker to an underclassman, this would be the year. As mentioned earlier, Gaudreau is doing something historic this season, as the first player in a decade to approach the 2.0 point/game mark, and only one of a handful of players ever to do so before their senior year. Gaudreau has to be considered one of the best NCAA players ever, given his accomplishments in three years. Add to this fact his nomination and second-place finish for the Hobey Baker from last year, and I would have to think that he is a heavy favourite even in spite of his Junior classman status.

And most people thought the only reason he did not win last year was due to his age as well. Probably should have 2 of these.

How the hell did he play 5 years in the NCAA. I thought it was 4.
Also he was 4 years older or has lived 20% longer on earth than JG at that point.

He broke his leg in 2011, so they granted him another year of eligibility.

Voted.
Also I didn't know much about this Shayne Gostisbehere guy. Looks like he played all of his minor hockey in Florida until he went to a boarding school in Connecticut for 11th grade. That's neat.

starting to pull away, but a single NCAA jihad could change things quickly - school like Michigan or Minnie could really rally their supporters.
