Crash and Bang Winger
|
So a brief story. I got a call from my insurance company shortly before Xmas. The lady who called me had a very very thick Asian accent. Normally that's fine but I honestly had a tough time understanding her. I got enough to understand she was calling about a mistake on my account. I let her try and explain what was going on for a bit but really I was not catching everything she was saying. So I requested I be contacted by somebody else at her office and she said that was not an issue. My normal insurance payment is around $100/month. I never did get a call back from them and with Christmas this kinda slipped my mind.
I am really bad with my bills. They all just come out of my account and I never verify they did and everything was correct. I'll own up to my faults but my bills get paid on time and I don't ever recall having an issue. However tonight I was transferring my mom a couple bucks and I happened to check out what was going on with my account.
I just noticed my insurance company for the last 2 months has been taking out more than double my normal insurance payment. Can a company just take more money out of your account for no reason? Well I am sure there is a reason but should I not at least be contacted and advised of an issue beforehand. I'm gonna be making quite the phonecall to them tomorrow.

My gear grinder lately has been with people using snow on the ground as an excuse to park like inconsiderate pricks. Yes, I realize you can't see the lines, but would it kill you to not park your car half a car width from the car beside you? And if you can't properly judge space when you back in your vehicles, it means you suck at it and shouldn't back it in in the first place. All you jerks parking like that effectively kill a lot of normally available parking spots.

An old gear grinder shows up again. The new guy who parks beside me in the apartment complex parkade has dinged my doors two days in a row now. It pisses me off how oblivious or inconsiderate people are.
Time to write a polite letter, since I have never seen the person and don't know who they are.

The guy that goes flying by you in a 50 km/h zone like you're not moving and then a kilometer down the road goes 80 in a 100 zone and getting stuck behind him.

It sounds a lot like the perpetual 40 km/h driver. 60 zone? Goes 40. Playground zone? Goes 40. Just completely unaware of their surroundings.

I just noticed that almost of the speed limit signs have snow caked on to them. Not sure if that's the same as your situation though, but if I didn't already know the speed limits in the section I drive, I would probably pick something safe and go with it, or go with the flow of traffic and hope for the best.

WGMG is packaging that has a tear here spot with the little cut showing where to pull. Then when you pull it is above the seal so it still does not open, then you have to try and pull it apart or go get the scissors.
