The A looks good on Backlund.

He's consistently been probably one of the top 2-3 players night in night out for some time now. Making us look ridiculous for suggesting trades in november.

Yep, but the shot was never going in. Brodie had a great period, the whole team needs to keep playing like that, get pucks on net and the goals will come

Was he ever really on the trade block? I hope not. Just Dreger mentioned it.

Sounded like he was a bit of a 'lone wolf'. Burke and a few others hinted at it.

Sportsnet panels perform to their usual standard.

To be fair, I'm sure there are those who suggested him as trade bait as a legitimate option to bring a real player back. Speculation where we give up spare parts is mostly pointless as it will not happen.

You need personalities that go out on limbs and maybe say something ridiculous, or funny, or out of the blue. At least set out to make a point in each panel segment. Stir up a little controversy. Or dish some interesting facts.

Dressing two tough guys all the time seems like a huge waste. Especially against a team like the Hurricanes.

Fox is in HD, albeit the Canes feed, hasn't been bad. Flames look like they have a fire under their belt.
