I wouldn't say there are excuses for being shutout nightly, but a lack of scoring isn't a real shocker. They should be able to at least "fluke" one goal a game for pete's sake.

Losing? Fine. Shutout for a game? Fine.

Shutout for 160+ minutes for two times in the span of a week? No, the roster has to be changed. Bring up Granlund or whoever and play them in the top 6 for a couple games. I'm not asking for a trade, but players cannot be complacent with this terrible hockey without the fear of consequences. That's why the Oilers are where they are.
