Exactly. When a team has been shutout in 5 of the last 7 games, it's going to come up from time to time during the broadcast.

Hope to see more of that from him. He's a big guy, glad to see him play like it.
Could be a huge part of the team moving forward if he continues to do it.

Played pretty well and still down 1-0. Going to get worse before it gets better...again...Good times indeed.

Yeah, there weren't too many positives coming out of that (this?) slide. Hopefully they turn things around, but positives can be taken from this game for sure. So far... (Temper my expectations a touch)

What else is Hughson going to say when he can't say "Great save Tanev!"

Oh, I agree. It was a pretty decent period, I have no problem with them saying it, but you can kinda feel the pity through the TV watching the game. Hughson and Simpson are trying hard, I'll give them that.

A big guy like him needs to use his size to power the puck to the net, screen the goalie, and effectively hold the puck on the forecheck, not to get into it with an equally useless player.

Holy crap.
The HNiC intermission panel is all about the Flames, with only the briefest mention of Montreal in a relevant comparison.
Hell really has frozen over.

Wideman has been looking a little jittery out there. Nerves from coming back into a big role and having lots excepted of him?

Interesting that Backlund has taken over Stajan's role as the centre getting the toughest matchups of late.

PP looks scrambled too. These boys need to settle down a bit and just play their game.
