Flames win 4-1

The Penguins make up any number of excuses from flu, jetlag, time zone, altitude, being post-apex on their road trip, and puckulent truck touches to explain the loss.

So an embarrassed Penguins team and wearing those horrific 3rd Jerseys?

I'll watch the Yotes/Ducks game thanks. Might be less of a massacre.

Flames I'll be at the game tonight

Section 210 - First row. Wearing a nameless/numberless white vintage Flames jersey. Hoping for a good game but expecting a blowout (which ain't no bad thing right now if you ask me). I will also be doing an informal look-around to see how badly the 3rds are selling - and hoping to see very few. I still can't believe how wrong they got it.

Now that I think about it, didn't see a single one on Thursday at the Blues game, but I wasn't particularly looking.

Oddly enough I saw more Baertschi jerseys than anything else

This is one of those games whose outcome is so obvious the exact opposite happens.

CGY scores early and often and hangs on for the win, I say...

Most interesting thing will be whether the pens are a big enough draw to put bums in seats or if the dome will be half empty on another weekend night.

If fleury plays the flames might score.

6-5 Flames
Fleury has flashbacks of the last Philly-Pens playoff series. Monahan and Hudler combine for 3 goals. Lance Bouma, Dennis Wideman and Gio get the rest.
We get treated to some amazing pure skill goals by the Pens but pull out the win at the end.

After losing games of 6-0 and 5-0, Flames regroup and lose 4-0.

Baby steps people.

Say hi to Bev. I believe she was wearing one of the new alternate jerseys last game.

By the end of the season we'll be winning games 18-0

Rick Ball's probably my favourite CBC PBP guy other than Cole. I wish we got Rick Ball for all the Flames' HNiC games.
