Okay Troy time to ban Flames tape from the room.

Heat down 5-0. Outshot 41-23 at this point.

Apparently this organization will never score a goal again.

Fourth games in a row in which the Heat fail to score more than one goal.

Kinda disheartening really, to see them falling apart.

Flames are B-R-U-T-A-L

We all knew they were going to be, and they are.

But, at least the play of the Heat was proving to be an exciting distraction as we followed all the 1st and 2nd year guys who were taking the AHL by storm, and helping the Heat to become (what looked like) a top tier AHL team.

Ah well, maybe they'll figure it out.

It's this the system that's the same for both parent and farm team

Minor paper transaction today as Heat forward T.J. Hensick was claimed off waivers by the Hartford Wolf Pack. He had been playing in Modo, Sweden and never played a game with the Heat. He was returning to the AHL, and therefore subject to waivers. Reading a bit about the guy, might have been a good player to have.

He can actually score too. This might've be a huge pickup for the Heat. Pretty frustrating not to have gotten him.

EDIT - But at least they tried. I'd expect some more moves like this in the coming days.

Yes, it's one of the education days where a bunch of school children get to come to the game and actually have a class and homework based on the game. It's a neat initiative by the AHL.

This would've been awesome with three T.J.'s in the organization. Then trade for Oshie too!
