Westgarth is even a d-bag when it's unintentional (sliding into the goalie).

I went down about 5 years ago. Arena was nice - mostly full of random Canadian hockey fans. Lots of jerseys unrelated to the two teams playing. Wasn't full - we got lower bowl seats for $25.

Phoenix commentators remarking at how good Calgary's defense is. First time for everything I guess.

His first move was to cross check an opponent's goalie, and then get in a fight two minutes later, and I think he was benched for the rest of the game. He's a stupid player who will get Calgary all kinds of stupid penalties, which he's already done. He won't last long. You can love him all you want, you are entitled to your opinion. He makes my skin crawl.

this. So far the only Flame that IS being an agitator and more than willing to drop the mitts. He brings more than Gratts so far.

when did I say I love him... some people are out of touch with reality. I said he does his job, that's all.

So he's basically getting in the opponents face.

The problem was that he was glued to the bench for the rest of that game and therefore was forgotten about by the other team. Should've stuck him out there some more. It's not the stupid moves or the stupid penalties and dirty play you should be looking at anyway; it's the opponent team's reaction you should pay attention to.
Last night vs Colorado he managed to shift the attention of the entire Avalanche team to him for a while, killing any effective momentum they had and then completely burying it six feet under after Bordeleau didn't answer the bell.

Here's my point. I don't want that kind of guy representing my team. For example, Canucks fans worship Kesler. Sickening. I don't care how bad the Flames are, I like my players to show class and sportsmanship. Just my opinion.
