nhl.com highlights are probably as good or better than any explanation.

Monahan scores one early by getting a low shot in that rebounds off Giguere's leg, and then goes in off the defensemen in front who is guarding Byron as he was crashing the net.

MacKinnon gets 2 PP goals for the Avs.

Colborne gets a sweet tipped in goal.

Hudler's goal is in a GIF on the first page of this thread.

Stastny goes 5 hole to tie it up 3-3.

Then Cammalleri's late PP game winner on the too many men call is in a GIF on the first page of this thread. Nice backhand dish by the snubbed Hudler.

Did that deflected goal go to Colborne or Westgarth? I know they said Westgarth originally, and then changed it to Colborne, but in the post game Hartley said it was Westgarth's goal.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE.

Good effort tonight. Tip of the hat to Westgarth - seeing him stand up and show some spunk turned the game around. The Flames need more of that.

I thought Monahan had his best game in some time. He seems to be getting back into form.

He hit Duchene semi from behind and Duchene went flying into the boards. Then at the end of the shift McGinn came up to crosscheck him but Westgarth beat him to the punch and McGinn went down.

Which one did Garth do to deserve his unsportsmanlike penalty? I only caught the third period.

Crushed Duchene into the boards from behind and then cross-checked McGinn in the face. Either one could apply.

It was a reputation call. The officials didn't see it or they would have called crosschecking/roughing (though by rights, McGinn deserved a penalty too). Instead, they saw McGinn down and Westgarth standing over him and made an assumption. Though usually the referee calls interference when they want to send someone to the box but had no idea what happened.
