That's pretty sad to have a weak call like that lead to the tying goal so late.

One of several weak calls in the period.

People still complaining about the calls? It's been like this all tournament long.

Yeah, if somebody still questions whether refs "just make mistakes"...

3rd period, Finland starting to get it's game together and leading, and penalty after penalty in a row until Sweden gets a goal.

I dont understand if the refs were favoring Sweden would they not have just called that clear over the boards a penalty? Also holding the stick and dragging the other player down is going to be called anywhere it was a pretty blatant penalty.

Would have been too blatant.

Love how he poked his head up, realized there was no call, then got back up like nothing happened.

It's also just possible that the IIHF wanted a better game.

And Puckluck is simply the opposite face of the same coin. Lets not encourage either, please.

Yeah, and despite 6 minutes of continous PP, Sweden loses shots on goal. Very probable Finnish win without those three phantom calls.

@coreypronman Forsberg named top forward, Ristolainen top D, Dansk top goaltender by the directorate.

@coreypronman Filip Forsberg named the MVP of the World Juniors.

@coreypronman Media All-Stars (not the directorate): F Mantha, Teravainen, Forsberg D: Zadorov, Ristolainen. G: Saros

Or international officials just suck. Given it's Sweden-Finland, I'm betting at least one of the referees is Canadian or American too. I know the Canadian referees are just WHL/QMJHL guys. Not exactly cream of the crop.

I posted a lot after the loss yesterday and was far from saying it was a formality. Don't really care too much about bronze medal games or who wins between two Euro trash countries so said my piece about the team yesterday.

Not sure why I would have a ton to post about today or why to would need to make post about a poster you don't want to post.

lol at the finns claiming favouring by the refs. The refs have missed a clear elbow to the head a puck-out and a stick to the face they could have taken if they had been favouring. I can agree that one or two of those they have taken have been questionable, but lets call it even.

I am however impressed by the finnish defense and they're very dangerous when they get to the Swedish zone. Feels like 50-50 going into OT.

My assumption is that they are just overwhelmed by the crowd..
