The serious answer is that the think the Saints are faking to slow down the Eagles' offence. Teams have been doing that to the Eagles all year.

6 point lead. Worst lead in football.

Is there really any doubt that the saints are going to score on this drive?

Eagles' defensive line should be ashamed of their performance today.

Oh well, still a very good season for the Eagles. But yes, the d-line sucked today.

What a game! Gonna be in real tough in Seattle though. Lewis better be healthy.

Full credit to the Saints' line but the Eagles really blew this game in a number of spots. I hope they cut Henery before he gets back to the locker room.

Good 2nd game. Eagles with their roster should win the division again next year. Credit to the Saints on a good road game.

I said I could go 4-0 or 0-4 in my predictions this week and the games today showed that. A 1 point game and a 2 point game.

Saints @ Seahawks rematch from a month ago. Saints will have to make adjustments from last time cause it wasn't really close. I think it will be much closer this time. Hopefully the 2 games tomorrow are as close as today's were.

Payton made the gutsy move and cut Hartley. Paid off for him today. Also have to credit the Saints run game, pretty good totals for a team missing their top rusher.

Saints and Seahawks. Bring it on baby! Should be a food game I think the Hawks can get it done. Praying Percy can be in the line up. Go HAWKS!

Ugh, Eagles didn't capitalize on turnovers, had their chances to put it away and never did.

Playoffs were a bonus to the Eagles in my mind so a successful season. Should be strong next year with most returning and hopefully Maclin back.

Saints played week, running game was great. Full credit.

some notes and quotes about todays games...

On Aaron Rodgers in cold weather

Quote:
Since he took over as a starter in 2008, he is 12-4 in freezing temperatures (32 degrees or below) and has the highest total QBR (73.7) out of any player who has made at least three starts in such conditions over the that time period.
Anthony Davis of the 49'ers not a fan of where he stayed last night..

Quote:
"Nature Boy Ric Flair flew into this s---hole to show us some love," Davis tweeted.

After receiving unhappy responses to his initial tweet about Appleton, Davis took to Twitter once again to disparage the town.

"Ok everybody that strongly disagrees w me can you defend your argument on this place not being a s---hole? lol btw that is not Rhetorical," Davis tweeted

What's in a record?

Quote:
The matchup of the Packers (8-7-1) and the 49ers (12-4) is the fifth time in wild-card history that one team has had at least four fewer regular-season wins than its opponent. It may come as a surprise that in the previous four games, the team with the fewer regular-season wins has won every time.
Chargers Bengals PO history...

Quote:
San Diego has a 19-14 all-time advantage over the Bengals. That includes one postseason game between the teams; the 1981 AFC Championship Game that was later nicknamed the "Freezer Bowl" for the minus-9 temperatures and minus-59 wind chill that the teams played through that day. That game at Riverfront Stadium was the last the postseason contest played between the two teams before Sunday. The Bengals won that one 27-7 to earn a trip to their first Super Bowl. Cincinnati's first regular-season game as a franchise, Sept. 6, 1968, also came against San Diego. The Chargers won that one, 29-13.
Some numbers to crunch

2: Total wins for Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton in three career games played in 32 degrees and lower.

0: Playoff wins for Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers in two career postseason games played in 32 degrees and lower. Rivers is 1-3 overall during his career in those games.

43.7: Percentage of times in the regular season the Chargers called a designed run. That leads the AFC among playoff teams and ties the Panthers for third in the NFL, behind the 49ers and Seahawks. That high percentage could give them an advantage if weather makes it difficult to pass Sunday.

15-1: As of Wednesday, odds Bengals have at winning the Pro Football Championship, according to Las Vegas SuperBook.

40-1: As of Wednesday, odds Chargers have at winning the Pro Football Championship, according to Las Vegas SuperBook

71.5: Rivers' league-best completion percentage in road games this regular season.

2,496: Rivers' passing yards in road games this regular season. Only Peyton Manning had more away from home.

41.5: Rivers' QBR in 2012.

71.7: Rivers' QBR in 2013

534: Rushing yards for San Diego's Ryan Mathews in December; the second-most yards for an NFL back in the month.

0: Career playoff touchdown passes for Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton in two career playoff games. Both were against the Texans.

4: Career playoff interceptions for Dalton in two career playoff games. He was picked off three times alone in the 2011 meeting at Houston.

Run Defense obviously gets a tonne of blame -- couldn't stop them in that final drive in obvious running situations.

Special teams probably the bigger goat -- Henery missing a makable kick. Weak leg that only produced 1 touchback. Poor kickoff coverage. Botching the punt coverage by kicking the ball into the end zone

Also: get a fullback! Shotgun on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 is unacceptable.

Gore will have to have a big game imo for the 49ers to have any chance today.
