Coaching what was the undisputed best prospect pool of juniors players in the world.

Now that other countries are catching up in their development, I think he's being brought back down to earth. For me, He's an average coach that seems to have trouble motivating his players and keeping them composed. Just my opinion. Flame away.

Glad we didn't draft Petan. I don't think he'll be an NHLer.

The Fins' PK has been excellent in this game, but zero shots? Unacceptable.

Because with the way the officiating is at these tournaments, and the type of game Poirier plays he would have likely spent most his time in the box, or suspended.

Well, if we're going to use this game to judge, three quarters of the Canadian roster won't make the NHL, and Dumba's going to head down to Portland, never to be heard from again.

But you're right. Petan has been awful.

Yeah been saying this for a couple of games now but the D is the real weakness for this year's team. Don't have anyone that can both pass or carry it out of the zone to start a solid breakout. We also don't have anyone heady enough as the QB.
Really missing a Subban or Doughty or Pietrangelo out there. There's no player on Canada that's even close to those guys. Who were really stirring the drink on offense.

Not *just* this game, but the tournament. He's got points but he doesn't look like he has NHL upside. Already looks rushed making plays an doesn't have near good enough poise with the puck on his stick.

Just so slow. So much gliding out there. Finland's getting the better possession opportunities, which is ridiculous.

The Finns are definitely the better team today, it's not close. Faster, better passing, great defensive positioning, they look great.
