Flight cancellations. In Vegas this morning, get up early to go to the airport only to find my flight cancelled. Can I get on the next flight this morning? No, I've been re-booked for the same time tomorrow morning. WTF? $300 later and I'm on my way again. Pain in the ass!

How are your B12 and IRON levels?
Not saying I'm an expert or anything because I'm certainly not, but I used to get canker sores all the time. Once I started taking proper vitamins and iron supplements I stopped getting them.
They are also possibly linked to sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and most toothpastes have that in them. I found crest toothpaste was particularly bad for me for canker sore flare ups. Maybe try changing your toothpaste and taking some vitamins, that might give you some relief.
But for the ones you do get, try gargling a salt and aspirin solution to help heal them faster. Boil cup of water and dissolve 2 aspirin and a crap load of salt in it. Once it's cooled down, gargle with it for as many times as you can throughout the day. If this works for you like it does for me, it should cut your suffering down to a day or 2 instead of 5 or 6.

Expiry dates on food, like cans and such that are written like this:
12-MA-13
Okay so did the food expire March 12, 2013 or was it May 13, 2012?
This drives me CRAZY, why can't you just type a four digit year, and a three character month!
And it's not like manufacturers all follow the same format, some do year first, and then month, and vice versa.
Speaking of expiry dates, how come all the food I grew up on that use to be 'non-perishable' started expiring. Is it for suckers like me to just throw out perfectly good food.?

I don't know. If you open it up, and it doesn't look/smell right then toss it.
The only thing I had that looked iffy after expiry date passed was some cream of mushroom soup that looked pretty bad.

People who mess around with their cameras while they're filming something awesome/funny. I can't stand those "whhrh click click whhhrr" sounds in the middle of a video.
Don't worry buddy, you got the shot, just hold the damn camera, that's your only job. No need to try and perfect it, and miss half the action while doing so.

Is it an expiry date or a best before date?

Or a "Sell By" date? Or a manufacturing date, or a packaging date. Some products have more than one, so you have to figure out what you're even looking at.

Air Canada
I typically use Westjet but Air Canada was my only option this time around. I was blown away to see that the all the displays and the in-cab audio was used to play commercials for companies like Jaguar.
It's bad enough paying more than $1100 for a flight usually under $750, but now I have to watch commercials?

You have to admit that the Jaguar commercial is pretty clever though. "You Can Skip This Ad in 5 seconds" button appears and when it finishes counting down, you can watch all the passengers try to press their screen to skip it. The guy beside me on the flight I was on was mashing the screen hard when it didn't work the first time. I was worried he was gonna break it!

You can skip most of the ads. Especially all the ones before a movie. I dunno, a few ads here and there for free movies and TV? I watched several pretty new movies going to TO and back for free. Thought that was pretty awesome.

Once you select the movie to watch, keep push Fast forward x4 and it'll blow by all the commercials, and start playing the movie.

I don't know why people always seem so bitter/annoyed when TSN takes a sport/league and makes it more popular. Like what's the issue? They take a league/sport/tournament that's very entertaining and full of skill, and they bring people together and make it part of the "scene".
"I just find it stupid when people get excited about, it wasn't that popular until TSN came along. People are just buying into the hype machine".
So what? Now it's easier to follow because TSN puts money and effort into it. Now it's fun to follow because friends/coworkwers talk about it because it's always on TV, which is half of what makes sports fun to follow; discussing/cheering/arguing with other fans. And it's a league/tournament/sport with skilled players.
If these tournaments/leagues were truly garbage like bitter people make them out to be then the hype wouldn't last very long, as we're not stupid. We'd stop watching if it was a crappy product.
"The NFL has way better talent than the CFL, people are stupid for watching it".
Well no ****ing sh**! But there's other places on the line of football leagues between the NFL and a touch football rec league in Burnaby, and the CFL is pretty damn high on that list.
And yes, Canadians watch the world juniors en masse, and yes part of that is probably because TSN puts money and effort into it (see: hype). But it's still an entertaining tournament.
It's like these guys think there's only two catagories; 1) Best in the word "Of course you'd want to watch that!" 2) Garbage "What kind of an idiot would watch not the absolute best?
/rant

People think it's over hyped garbage because their favorite team isn't winning every year like it did for a while.

I get what you are saying Flameswin, but any league with 8 teams, can't be taken seriously. Winning the Grey Cup, is about the equivalent of winning the Pacific Division, in the AHL. I don't understand how people can get frothing at the mouth maniacly excited about that.

Why does it need to be taken seriously? It's just sports/entertainment. For me: a combination of history, tradition and culture. And it's fun to go to the games and get behind the team.

A gear grinder: the new year's resolutioners at the gym whom have no sense of etiquette, hogging an area without using it efficiently, not wiping down their equipment, not replacing weights, etc.

People who complain about new year's resolutioners. Just wait 20 days and it will sort itself out.
