Not sure the shot at Glencross was necessary.

I'm okay with Glencross missing the rest of the regular season.
The Flames will need him for the playoffs.

Haven't seen many games lately.
What happened to scoring ?
Did the Oilers figure something out about Calgary system when they shut them out last time and now other teams review the film ?
Or is it more the dog days part of a season where youthful exuberance and hard work gives way to talent ?

Well we don't have much youth on the team yet so it's hard for youthful exuberance.

We mostly have old and useless right now.

"Anyone miss Curtiss Glencross..." Nope. Agreed. More trade fodder.

I was at the game... and the entire place booed when the refs blown down the broken skate blade... that play was blown down right when a flame was streaking in at the blueline...

This is quite a bit like last year. The players are playing like they are waiting for the next shoe to drop. Last year, they knew they were out of it and once it was known that Iggy was going, they were all looking over their shoulders. It affected the on ice performance. This year, I suspect you had a team believing in itself, that things were going right and they deserved a better fate in many of their close losses. Burke turfing Feaster and saying he didn't like the makeup of the team introduces the same element in to the overall dynamic.
