I think people are making too big of a deal of them "kicking them out". If it is what I think it is and we're talking about the scene where both Carlyle and Babckock kicked out the crews and ripped into their team, I think there's been an instance in each series where the camera crew has been waiting outside the room while all you hear is the coach screaming (as they are still mic'd).

I would agree that it hasn't been as interesting as the other two though.

Also, complaining about SN editting it is fine (because it is super lame), but the uncensored version is pretty easy to find on a quick Google search, so I'm not sure why people fret about the censorship/some of the pvr cutoff.

I like learning how the coaches deal with the situations and their players, but thus far the only coach I've seen who knows what the hell hes doing is Dan Bylsma. I was supremely impressed.

I like all the ice level cameras for games and practice, it's like you're part of it and can really see what's going on.

I like the travel part of it as well.

All the coaching stuff as well.

You're not going to get closer to being on an NHL team than this series.

I'd like to see a series like this done on the Flames.

If anyone is still out there who thinks even the "uncensored" version is not heavily censored, you are dreaming. David Poile on the Bobby Ryan situation: "we thought this was similar to 24/7 situation where we had editorial review on what was going to be said… caught all of us off guard…"
They just want you to think the HBO version is uncensored.

You are confusing censored and edited.

Do you think by "editorial review" David Poile was thinking the league had input on which camera angles were being used or the pacing of scenes? No. He was thinking "if somebody says something stupid no one will know." That is censorship.

I think everyone knows what "uncensored" means in regards to a television program.

This thread tells me different. There are posters who think the HBO version is uncensored, and Sportsnet is doing the censoring. Sure, they are editing out the bad language, but by the time HBO releases their version, the serious chopping has been done. You'll never see an uncensored version of 24/7. HBO (and the NHL) titillate your with some swearing and what not, but I'm pretty sure there is lots we don't see and hear in the so-called uncensored version..

Part 4. Best one yet! There's some HBO ads right at the beginning. Have to skip forward about 5 minutes.

Default Another Good Show

Why did the Leafs trade Liles, couldn't they have waited a day or so and have him play in the game since he was already there?

Would liked to have seen more of Todd Bertuzzi.

The other thing is they could show a bit more about the other teams that the Leafs and Wings were playing in their games.

Dion's contract signing, the guy's a champ.

Like I said it was a good show again, I'd give it 4/5 stars.

I only watched the last episode, but Phaneuf came across exactly like the self-absorbed delta bravo I pictured him to be. Except with a hilarious voice.

Phil Kessel looks like a chubby dude who could barely jog across the street for some chips...never mind be an elite athlete. Dude must have some amazing natural talent.
