Good effort today boys. We dominated the play for 95% of the game but their goalie Ray Emery'd us big time today.

I blame this on Locke. Either he showed up and he didn't drink enough or he didn't show up and bring leadership. Either way Locke #### the bed big time today.

There goalie was something else. We had to of had 3 times the shots. Any outside shots and he made the save look easy and anything inside left the shooter looking at what appeared to be a 7" 400lb goalie.

No Excuses Locke..
Day 1 of training for the 2014 Heckle (Heckle XII) begins today for me. Also If I am moved to Calgary by then I can also organize/help organize it. One thing I have learned being the worst hockey player on bad teams is that if you organize the team or the event... you can't be kicked out for being horrible at hockey.

Heckle XII
Hello CPers! Mike from Oilfans... just wondering whether you folks would be game to plan the XIIth incarnation of the Heckle sometime soon. I know Cogent moved to Medicine Hat and was hoping someone else might take over organizing your end (setting up a thread like this one, recruiting players, collecting $$$) - either I or the guy who set it up last year will get on putting something together for 2014 from the YEG end of things.
If someone is willing to plan things, drop me an email to mike@iamthird.ca, and we can get things rolling (I don't troll on here nearly often enough, and with how terrible the Oilers have been this year, I'm not likely to start!)

The official OilFans Heckle XII planning thread is now live. The proposed date is March 1st, but before we secure that timeslot we're wondering if you guys are up for the challenge. Anyone on CP willing to lead the battle for you guys?
I've been retired from planning duties for a few years now, but Adam over at OilFans has taken the reins this year. Hopefully the logistics work out for another game!

FYI Pylon, I still owe him some crown  , I may drop it off at the dealership this weekend...in the event he isnt there.

Sounds good, all we would need is both teams to get a committed roster of at least 10 players and we're golden. I'm sure Adam would even give you guys the benefit of the doubt, since every year your roster is bursting at the seams anyways. Thanks for the help!
