Go Russia, Slovakia and whoever in the other game!

Canada needs to come out and play a simple game and they should handle the Swiss fairly easily. If they start running around and trying to make the fancy passes they open themselves up to getting burned on an odd bounce or PP chance the other way.

Switzerland is surprise ready, if Canada is not coming out of the doors with 100% focus, they will get burned.

Canada, USA, Finland & Sweden in the Semis I guess.

1-0 Russia. Tipped off a skate about a foot in front of the net and the rebound went to Grigorenko. Not Gillies' fault.

Knucklepuck from the blue line, rebound 2-1 Russia.

The shot was tipped again, and the posters on HF hate Gillies.

There isn't a goalie in the world that would stop that second goal on the 5 on 3's. What an unreal shot

The only thing you could say is that he's too deep in the net on those one timers... they were both good shots though.

Looked like that puck-out went via the glass. Russia is lucky to be leading this game. The US were controlling the play up to those two 5 on 3's.

They said it hit the mesh that is attached to the glass and caused the glass to move.

That German guy got to be moving up our draft board with all of these game misconducts/suspensions.

Ah ok. Must be some really tightly strung mesh there, seeing how the bounced upwards from it.
