Thanks for getting it started. The New Year's celebrations went well into the night and waking up when the game was nearly over. The party household taped the game so we just finished watching it.

The wacky feed was the NHL international telecast. Dave Strader is the play by play commentator and Millen is doing colour commentary. Strader and various colour commentators do the international feeds for the Stanley Cup Finals. I have always enjoyed the on screen graphics.

Maybe I'll give you being a dinkus in this case but how do you know this is 'as usual'? No. You don't, unless you know me personally, which isn't the case, or look at many of my posts. I'm sure you don't do that either since you likely have much better things to do than that.

I have to say, that was probably the 2 nicest sets of uniforms ever assembled for a single game. Ultra classy. I wish the league would start pushing more aggressively towards classic lines for all teams, not just original 6 teams.

Yes, the jerseys were well done. The jerseys were just as good in the 2009 Winter Classic when the Red Wings and Blackhawks played.
