I'm watching on NBC and the angle is throwing me off. I assume CBC is the same? Seems like the ice is longer and skinnier than usual.

The 2 home colours, camera angles and no stands is reminding me of my old table hockey game.

CBC camera angle is alright, but it's a tad shaky.

If they're going to have to shovel every two minutes, they could have at least brought in the hottest ice girls from around the league.

This game is going to take all afternoon with these snow clearing delays.

Just found a CBC stream and the overhead view is off a bit too. They seem to zoom into ice-level more often though so I think I'll stick with CBC

With the amount of clothing being worn, how do you know they didn't?

this game's all about tradition - they gotta have old guys who look like bulldogs shovelling. They should make them all have cigarettes hanging out of their mouths for effect.

Has there ever been a fight during a winter classic/heritage classic game?

This feels like a game where someone should be wearing a helmet cam.

If they can do it within the duration of the TV timeouts, like right now, should be alright. I bet they figure out a way to expedite it as we go along.

I'm surprised Bernier is allowed to wear that toque. I can see that falling off easily and causing a distraction.

That's happened before in these games hasn't it?
Didn't Iggy even wear one for a shift or two at one point in the Calgary one?

I love that overhead fly cam. They used it about 15 years ago for the first time and I don't know why they don't find a way to use that as the regular cam. Makes you feel like you're right on the ice - especially in HD.

I really like the font they used for the team names on the edge of the upper bowl.
