Oilers lose in OT. So, there's that.

Go to hell, 2013.

I can't imagine why, they're a good team with good pieces. They are playing the way they should be playing, all things concerned.

My bad. He took over when they were 0-3-0. I thought they were worse than that.

I've been in denial for a while now. Hands down we have the worst defence in the league. It's pretty hard not to cringe when Giordano and Smid are not on the ice. The other four are hard to watch. Brodie just because he's paired with Butler.

BUTLER HAS TO GO NOW!!

The Oilers played game #42 tonight, the Flames game #40. Over half the season done, and not once have the Oilers been ahead of the Flames in the standings.

So, there are some positives.

Oh great the Butler hate again, while ignoring that O'Brien and Smith are both useless though.

It's not just a coincidence that the offence dried up once Russell got hurt. Hard for any team to generate offence when Smid, Butler, Smith, and O'Brien are 4 of the 6 D-Men.

Look, we aren't even a year into this rebuild. One or two "tweaks" aren't going to fix this team. How about we calm down and stop over analyzing every single word spoken by anyone of power within the organization. Burke hasn't even named a replacement GM yet. A new GM will likely be named after the post season, so we still have a lot of hockey to play until then.

I hate the fact that I'm getting so annoyed with all the impatient and negative people. Every snarky comment about "truculence" really irk me. I think I need some time off from this board, but I seem to come back every day, at most.

I was hoping Kevin Westgarth was going to lead us to victory.

Does Beazley not watch hockey? He butchered at least 3 names tonight.

Meszaros and Couturier were the worst.
