Is anyone else pissed off that we got such a crappy alumni game as part of the Heritage Classic (where the Habs had a bunch of fillers who never even played for them), where everyone else gets one that's almost as big a deal as the actual game?

The 3rd jersey curse is making me angry. Not Honda Center angry...but angry nonetheless. We need to burn those dreaded things ASAP.

I thought Byron started the night there?

Maybe we need to burn them at centre ice of the Honda Center.

Wouldn't call the Leafs and Wings a big deal. Only being Toronto and the hype they have now and previously hyped plugs like Domi was this hyped up again. Toronto hasn't had a good team in 20 years. So many of those plugs still live in the area and didn't want to be excluded. Didn't make it a big deal. Dave Mcillwain, Mark Laforest? Terrible.

Sportsnet.... mature content warning.
Then they open with a Roger Millions interview, got my hopes up only to disappoint.

He may be talking about the alumni game later in January as part of the Heritage Classic, as opposed to the 2 Leafs-Red Wings games that took place today as part of the Winter Classic.

Fair enough. Still, you can figure out another reason why I said that.

Been really impressed with Brodie the last few games. For a guy that rarely hits and isn't very intimidating size-wise he's really been holding his own in battles along the boards and in the crease.

I'm pretty sure I saw Stemp with them the first few shifts, but I could be wrong.

Is Bob Cole doing his Charlie Simmer impression tonight? Dennis Hextall?

Do you smell burnt toast Charlie?
