New Years Eve Game - Flames vs Flyers - 7pm MT - SNWest
I assume HD is celebrating New Years early today? The game day skate has started so I thought I would post the Twitter updates:

Granlund being with the big club doesn't really hurt at this point since Abby doesn't play till Jan 3rd. I do hope he gets a chance with the Flames so we can see what he can do at this point

They do fireworks after the NYE game some years, but usually no countdown since the game will be over 2 hours before the new year.

Hooray for scratching Galiardi and not Bouma (if they actually do that). Westgarth can at least face punch... not sure exactly what Galiardi does.
Although judging by the line-up the Flyers used in their last game they have no one who would fight MacGratton or Westgarth unless Rosehill dresses. Downie or Rinaldo won't fight them and Rosehill hasn't dressed in a long while.

Even though, yes, I don't expect to see Westgarth come in and score, I am still pretty keen to see what he adds to the team, I hope he makes it on time.
