Two of the last three times I've taken one of my sons to the game the Flames have been shut out. This was one of the worst games I've attended in a long time. The Canucks didn't look very good either and I don't see that team going very far in the playoffs.

I hate this 'hockey IQ/Smarts' term Feaster has infected Flames fan with.

Flames need to shoot the effing puck as opposed to making that perfect pass or play! We seem to have lost all confidence on offence.

This board would be a much better place if all posters dropped the wannabe mod mall cop routine and let the actual mods do the thread policing.

I'm pretty sure he's telling EE to stop taking his son to the games, since the Flames have been shutout 2 of the last 3 times he's done it.

Default Canucks 2 - Flames 0. Worst game of the year?

That was a joke, he said he had brought his sons to two games that the Flames had been shut out in, I told him to quit doing that.

You need to relax. Go for a walk. Feed some birds. Smile at your wife.

Just, you know, anything that isn't getting all preachy on CP when a joke goes over your head, bro.

I actually like Smith. He gets a bad rap on this board for some reason. He was great before his injury; hopefully he can build some confidence and get back to where he was. In the meantime, he's not garbage at all.

He is a guy that has already cleared waivers and in my opinion is not a good NHL d-man. Good veteran to have in Abbotsford.

This board calls Butler "Garbage" all the time, even though he is a much better d-man then Smith.

Ya, I had the pleasure of sitting next to two of the more dbag Canucks fans all game.

Usually I would have been a bit more upset, but I just laughed. Even when they were throwing their cusses late in the third, all I could think was that this Canucks team was only up 1-0 on a pathetic Flames team.

I just smiled and laughed, as April will show them quickly this is a team on fast decline. At least we have started the bottoming out, they have a few years of suffering yet until they get there, so whatever.

I only saw a small part of this game, but honestly, from what I saw, the Edmonton loss was worse. However, at least Vancouver legitimately earned a shutout rather than had it handed to them by incompetent officials.

I don't want Butler re-signed either, I just think he's a better NHL option.

I think the guy has a legitimate right to complain.

Especially when your lil kids have to sit through that. I know the team is where it is, but rebuilding or not, the past two have simply not been near good enough. Games like these against rivals, I do feel bad for the fans there..

So, y'know.. maybe you should quit it.

The first two games of the season that I have been unable to watch and the flames get shutout with no effort. I missed half the Anaheim Black Friday game as well.
I need to find a way to watch the next game.

Wow, the guy misinterpreted the joke.... does everyone need to jump on the guy? A simple explanation would have sufficed IMO, no need to mock him.
