Kind of. He used to do it professionally for a living, then moved on. Now he'll do it in his garage for a really good price here and there, more as a hobby, I believe.

My last stereo install was in his garage while I drank beers in a lawn chair and it was a 100% professional install when he was done.

Excellent way to go, imo. No dropping it off at some shop and wandering around like an idiot for an hour or two, or being told to come back later in the day. You just drive into the garage, grab a beer or two, and hang out until he's done,.

The cool part is, if you're inept at that kind of stuff, like me, you can watch if you want and ask questions and he'll explain any part of the install if you're interested. Great guy.

Thinking about picking up a double din deck and a camera. Also need a window switch replaced, so I'd guess he would be capable of that sort of thing.

Yeah, definitely, if I recall correctly he doesn't check CP every day, so it may take a couple of days to get back to you, but definitely see what he has to say, it's quality work, and he seems to like doing it.

...and don't book anything for Thursday evening, that's the night I'm going to try and con him into, haha.
